Dr. Amanda Nayfield (she/her) is a doctor of physical therapy, board certified clinical pelvic health specialist and founder/owner of Connect NW Physical Therapy & Wellness. During physical therapy school at the University of Montana, she developed a special interest in pelvic health and completed continuing education courses and mentorship in pelvic floor dysfunction before graduating. Right out of school, she focused her practice in pelvic health and earned her board certification as a women’s health clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2016.
She has advanced training in manual therapy and visceral mobilization and treats a variety of orthopedic concerns including dysfunction in the spine, pelvis, hip and extremities. Direct pelvic floor assessment and treatment is often required to resolve issues such as pelvic pain or incontinence, but dysfunction in other areas of the body are often driving the pelvic floor issue and must be addressed! When treating any condition, Amanda utilizes an eclectic and holistic assessment and treatment approach by looking at the body as a whole to determine all of the factors contributing to an individual’s main concern.
Amanda grew up in Colorado and spent 9 years in Montana, so she feels most at home in the Mountains. During her free time, she loves to embark on outdoor adventures with her husband and two kiddos. Some of her favorite activities include running, hiking, rock climbing, and biking.
